Outreach Team Jesus said in Mark 16:15: "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel." Jesus also said in Luke 14:25: "Go out into the highways and the hedges and compel them to come in so that my house may be full." Upcoming Events and Thank-You's Thank you to all who helped with the Jason Upton/Faith in Action Concert! 150 people attended the Friday concert, and 125+ attended on Saturday! Our next meeting is Sunday, February 10, after the second service. I hope you can come. Please bring a pot luck item. Vision God has been impressing upon many hearts that Jesus is coming back soon and that there are lost and hurting people in this city that the LORD wants us to reach. Just as Jesus loves each one of us, Jesus loves the lost and hurting ones outside the four walls of the church. We need to go out as we are led by the Holy Spirit and lead the way for people to come into God's Kingdom and everlasting life. Jesus died for "the world" and we are an extension of His mighty love as we step out in faith, together, to do His will. We come together once a month (usually the first Sunday of the month) to plan outreaches of Jesus' love and the gospel message into the Duluth/Superior area. It is a fun time of prayer, worship and planning. Anointed ideas that have been birthed in the Spirit, compassion and prayer are shared by everyone. Then we work and pray together to plan what activities to do and how the LORD wants them to be carried out. |
